Education: Overview
As part of our mission to bring talented professionals into the transportation field, TransNow provides funding to students seeking transportation-related degrees. This is achieved through Transportation Northwest's Advanced Institute program, established in 1991. Member universities are located in the state of Washington and include the University of Washington and Washington State University. Students and faculty in these universities are directly involved in transportation research and education, and have developed strong relationships with state transportation departments and other regional organizations.
