ENO Leadership Development ConferenceThe ENO Leadership Development Conference is an opportunity for students to develop skills that will prepare them to be future leaders in the transportation field. TransNow sponsors one student to attend the annual conference. During the conference, students meet with top executive branch and congressional officials, industry executives, and non-profit leaders to gain a real-world perspective about drafting, debating, shaping, and determining transportation policy. In addition to learning about transportation policy-making, students have the opportunity to forge professional relationships with their colleagues. ENO students are welcomed into a dynamic network of alumni from past leadership conferences and other Eno professional development programs. Region X Student ConferenceEvery fall transportation students from the region gather at one of the regional UTCs for the Region X Student Conference. The conference is an excellent opportunity for students to share their research with peers. TransNow supports students' attendance at the conference. Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual MeetingThe TRB Annual Meeting is an information-packed program which attracts approximately 10,000 transportation professionals from around the world. The meeting is held in January each year in Washington, D.C. at the Marriott Wardman Park, Omni Shoreham, and Hilton Washington Hotels. The TRB Annual Meeting program covers all transportation modes, with more than 2,800 presentations in 500 sessions addressing topics of interest to all attendees—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions.
